3G Graphic Solutions to Expand Focus on Commercial Printing and Publishing
In a move to bring more value and quality to customers and allow 3G to increase market share in commercial printing, 3G Graphic Solutions has divested The Rhoades Paper Box Company and the Springfield Packaging Company. There will be a seamless transition for existing customers of Rhoades and Springfield Packaging as they are migrated to the acquiring partners. By transitioning to these partners, the customers will have the ability to purchase a broader range of applicable product and utilize the superior service that these partners offer.
BOXit Corporation will be assuming the operations of Rhoades Paper Box. Welch Packaging Corporation will be assuming the operations of Springfield Packaging. Welch Packaging began operations in 1985 and is a privately held company with seven box businesses, a plastic thermoforming business and a partnership in a corrugated sheet feeder. The company specializes in providing custom packaging solutions and is recognized in the industry for its production capabilities. Welch Packaging is dedicated to continuing to serve and improve upon the existing relationship with Springfield Packaging customers. 3G Adds Two Seasoned Professionals
Scott Clark joined 3G Graphic Solutions in March 2011 as a commercial printing account manager. Scott brings 30 years of print experience to his customers having previously worked as an account manager at C&O Printing/Innomark Communications. “I enjoy working closely with my customers to ensure all of their printing needs are met with quality, value and service.”Paul Ripplinger joined 3G Graphic Solutions as the CFO on April 18, 2011. He brings with him 25 plus years experience in the accounting field, an accounting degree from Western Kentucky University (1984) and he has served on several community boards. He last served as the CFO for Eagle Tool and Machine Company in Springfield. Paul lives in Miamisburg. He has three children; Nick who has served in the US Army for 6 years, Elizabeth who attends Wright State University and Joey who attends the University of Mississippi.
